The City of The Lord of Hosts (Psalm. 48:8)
PLEASE JOIN US TO PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM
God has asked us to “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem,” and He meant it. All we have to do is turn on the News, and you will always find Israel right in the middle of everything that is going on. Most of the time, according to the News’ standards, Israel is being portrayed as the “bad guy” while the “Palestinians” are known as “a people without a country.” Because of this disinformation being pronounced almost on a daily basis, people in the world have a dim view about Jerusalem and Israel.
This is not a political article at all. We are talking about an expanse of land Almighty God gave to a specific, hand-picked people: the Jews. He meant it to be theirs forever; it’s as simple as that. The world, however, refuses to accept the fact that Israel was, is, and shall forever be, the apple of God’s eye. This explains throughout history why so many nations have continuously come against them. Let us not be concerned about what they subscribe to; that is not important at this time. What is of great magnitude is how the good Lord obligated His people to obey His commands, and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Like any good parent, when a child needs corrections, the Holy One of Israel has always done the right thing with His child, Israel. He did not need any help from the enemies of Israel then, and He certainly does not need their assistance today. Abraham was the first Jew, and because of his obedience, the Lord God Almighty said this to him in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. In you will all of the families of the earth be blessed.”
God chose Jerusalem to be His Holy City before the foundation of the world. He has obviously seen something good and peculiar about the city of Jerusalem. What are those things that are peculiar about that city? I believe that only God is able to answer that question. Since it is the City of God, we should be mindful to pray for the peace of Jerusalem in obedience to His instructions, because it says in Psalm 122:6, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”
It is believed that peace could be attributed to the name of Jerusalem; lift up your voice and pray that the condition of peace assigned her will validate her suspense and veracity of true peace. God unquestionably would anticipate His children to intercede for the true peace of His beloved city, Jerusalem. This prayer must not be a one-time thing, but an unending flowing of rivers with continuous prayers. In other words, the procession must be encored, so it is desirable of peace; peace of mind, happiness, joy with riches, ought to be projected and anticipated. Almighty God has made His residence in no other place than His house, which is located in Jerusalem.
As a result, God is right there waiting for you to bring your supplication to Him on behalf of the peace of Jerusalem. By obediently praying for Jerusalem you will harvest the peace of God and genuine prosperity will be reaped upon you from the Eternal Rock of Ages; not the false hopes which only a sin sick world can offer.
The peace of Jerusalem must not experience any type of affliction. May your heart, soul and mind be centered on God alone when you enter into His Holy presence. Peace in the house of God ought to be on the apex of your hearts in every aspect of your daily prayers. With fervent prayers God Himself shall rain down the sprinkling of peace upon you. Those who pray in this manner will prosper who love thee and it does not matter whether you regard this as a promise or as a prayer. Furthermore, prayer is the medium of obtaining God’s promises, and promises are the soil and soul of prayers which is like a sweet-smelling aroma in the nostrils of GOD.
Prosperity of soul will be enjoyed by those who pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and those who convey a keen enthusiasm for the nation of Israel. These are men and women of peace who will receive His peace in all of their holy dealings. God’s people pray for them, and God Himself delights in them for doing so. Prosperity and the blessings of God will come to those who demonstrate a strong affinity towards the city of Jerusalem.
A prime example is the house of Obededom which was tremendously blessed. Why was this man so blessed? He did what other people would not do because they were afraid of sudden death. When King David discovered those tremendous blessings saturating over the house of Obededom, he decided to bring the Ark of the Covenant back to his palace because he wanted all of the blessings for himself! Who could challenge the King of Israel, or who does not want beautiful things for themselves? This is the reason why you need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem! If God was present and gave his abundant blessings to Obededom then, He most certainly is more than able to do the same today because you are reverently praying for the peace of Jerusalem. God is the same yesterday, tomorrow and forever.
Are you ready to pray for the peace of Jerusalem with us?
If so, then you will need to change your perspective of God’s requirement in praying for the peace of Jerusalem. However, if you fail to pray, I must openly inform you that you will have no share in her prosperity. Moreover, peace of mind which surpasses human comprehension may not be yours after all. If you do not take the time to obey God’s command to pray for the peace of Jerusalem due to your hectic schedule, it could be an indicator to question your genuine veracity of your love for God.
Discipline yourself and ask the good LORD to assist you in developing a loving heart for Israel – no other way will do but to love Israel and pray for her. You must do your very best to ignore the cumbersome, unfavorable and hostile news regularly disseminated by the news media worldwide about Israel.
What then must we do to prosper?
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

Pray for every small city in the land of Israel
Pray for every middle city in the land of Israel
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
Pray for the peace of the nation of Israel

Pray for the government officials and/or leaders
Pray for the salvation of the leaders of Israel

Pray for the homeless people
Pray for the unity of families
Pray for the lives of poor people
Pray for the lives of middle-class citizens
Pray for the lives of rich people
Pray for the good health of all citizen of Israel
Pray for the enemies of Israel to be destroyed
Pray for the boys and girls
Pray for all the governmental political parties
Pray for the nation of Israel to have profuse of rain
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience peace of mind
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience joy
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience unity
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience understanding
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience wisdom
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience pleasure
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience God’s favor
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience good slumber
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience good health
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience a sound mind
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience stability of life
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience wholeness
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience any freedom
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience any progress
Pray that the enemies of Israel will not experience wisdom in God’s word
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience richness of life
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience the grace of God
Pray that all the enemies of Israel will not experience God’s blessings
